Two Diggers was one of the major exhibits at this exhibition, which ran from 22 November 2003 to 15th February 2004. The Breda Museum experts had verified reasons used by the Van Gogh Museum for their decision not to attribute the painting to Van Gogh. They had found these reasons to be invalid, incorrect or irrelevant and not justifying a negative conclusion. The findings of the Breda Museum are explained in their 236 page illustrated catalogue, written by Ron Dirven and Kees Wouters, which accompanied the exhibition.
